MY REVIEW: "Hot as Sin" is a page-turning contemporary romance from author Molly Sloan. After his father's death, Caleb Elliot is shocked to learn that he and his two brothers, Alex and Eden, had been adopted as infants by Susan and Gordon Elliot. Growing up in a world of privilege did not prepare the boys to learn that each of them had been born to a different set of parents in a different country. Now, in order to help the brothers mature beyond their slacker irresponsibility, their father has stipulated that each one of them must "earn" their inheritance by returning to their birth countries and finding a worthy cause to support. First up is older brother Caleb, who learns that his given name was Ramon, and he was born in Cuba. He journeys to Cuba and finds his birth father--and he also meets a beautiful young woman named Ava, an unexpected and undeniably compelling force-of-nature. The chemistry between them is combustible--a mixture of Fate and irresistible attraction. In order to find a happy and rewarding future together, Caleb and Ava must resolve issues from the past and defeat the elements of present-day danger that lurk all around them--is their love strong enough to find the way? I look forward to learning how Fate will treat the younger Elliot brothers, Alex and Eden, in future stories from the talented Molly Sloan.
