MY REVIEW:  "1, 2, 3, Animals!: A First Counting Book for Toddlers" is a charming little book, told in a catchy rhyming text and illustrated with cute and colorful animals. The pages lead up to number 10, and then go back down again. A group of animals is putting on a show--a handsome lion in a top hat gets them started--and later he tells them when it's time to go. There are dogs, elephants, and kangaroos--hippos, seals, and bears too. Tigers, apes, and toucans are also members of the troupe--quite a fun and happy group. A simple and enjoyable way to learn to count to ten.
