MY REVIEW: "My Kindergarten Math Workbook: 101 Games and Activities to Support Kindergarten Math Skills" is a fun educational activity book and helpful teaching tool focused on helping kindergartners to build their math skills. The book starts off on an encouraging note: three pages with a "star" for each one of the 101 activities. Children can color in the star for each activity that they complete, and then they can review their progress in a simple visual manner. Author Keri Brown has a masters degree in elementary education and more than a decade of actual teaching experience in kindergarten and first grade classrooms. She advises that her goal is "to help children succeed", and she hopes that this book "will provide a meaningful and fun learning experience". Each page is colorfully illustrated with appealing and interesting activities such as number hunts, secret code puzzles, math-based mazes, coloring, and more skill challenges which progress in difficulty as the child works their way through the book. At the end of the book, there is a "Congratulations Certificate" to fill in with the child's name when all the activities are completed. Author Keri Brown has created a helpful and happy learning guide that will be enjoyable for children and parents to use together.
