Three-Time RITA Winner Invites Readers Back to the Captivating Coastal Town of Hope Harbor
After a devastating layoff, attorney Eric Nash heads back to the town where he grew up--only to discover that his childhood home is being transformed into a bed & breakfast. Instead of plotting his next career move in peace, he's constantly distracted by noise, chaos--and BJ Stevens, the attractive but prickly blonde architect and construction chief who's invaded the house with her motley crew.
As for BJ, her client's son might be handsome, but after a disastrous romance, dating isn't high on her agenda. Yet when they join forces to create a program for Hope Harbor seniors, might they also find healing, hope, and a new beginning themselves?
Come back to Hope Harbor for a new season of charm, romance, and second chances.
Hope Harbor police chief Lexie Graham has plenty on her plate raising her son alone and dealing with a sudden rash of petty theft and vandalism in her coastal Oregon hometown. As a result, she has zero time for extracurricular activities--including romance. Ex-con Adam Stone isn't looking for love either--but how ironic is it that the first woman to catch his eye is a police chief? Yet wishing for things that can never be is foolish.
Nevertheless, when Lexie enlists Adam's help to keep a young man from falling into a life of crime, sparks begin to fly. And as they work together, it soon becomes apparent that God may have a different--and better--future planned for them than either could imagine.
Lauded by Library Journal as "a master at character development," Irene Hannon welcomes readers back to this charming Oregon seaside village where hearts heal--and love blooms.
MY REVIEW: "Sandpiper
Cove" is Book 3 in author Irene Hannon's "Hope Harbor" series, and it
is such a lovely inspirational contemporary romance that I look forward
to reading the entire series. Police Chief Lexie Graham is a widowed
single mother raising her young son, Matt, with the help of her own
mother. The three of them share a home in the small seaside community of
Hope Harbor, Oregon. Lexie's dedication to her family and to her work
still doesn't keep away her grief over the tragic loss of her husband. A
series of vandalism incidents throughout the town brings Lexie together
with Adam Stone, an ex-con who works as a laborer and carpenter in the
area. Lexie's personal hardships have driven her away from her faith,
but Matt's mistakes and his time served have led him to embrace a quiet
faith and to seek a deeper meaning and purpose in life. Both of them are
flying under the radar as far as personal relationships go, but an
immediate attraction grows between them along with burgeoning
understanding and acceptance. However, there are those in the community
who would do them harm. Will truth and true faith help them overcome all
obstacles to find an unexpected, richly rewarding love of a lifetime?
"Sandpiper Cove" is a touching and heartwarming romance.

A crumbling lighthouse is not part of the inheritance Army doctor Ben Garrison expects to claim when he journeys to Hope Harbor. Fresh out of the service, he wants only to unload the tower of bricks, decompress from years of treating battlefield trauma, and prepare to launch his civilian career.
Hope Harbor Herald editor Marci Weber has other ideas. She may not be a Hope Harbor native, but the small Oregon seaside town has become home--and she's determined to save the Pelican Point landmark.
Sparks fly as the two go head to head over the fate of the lighthouse. But when they start to cooperate, a different kind of fire ignites. And as they work together, might Hope Harbor heal the hearts of these two romance-wary souls?
MY REVIEW: Author
Irene Hannon's charming little coastal community of Hope Harbor, Oregon
offers refuge for newcomers and a home-place haven for longtime
residents. Historic, quaint, and close-knit, the little town has much to
offer for those who learn where to look. "Pelican Point", Book Four in
the "Hope Harbor" series finds a former army doctor at odds with the
local news editor over the fate of a cherished landmark. When his
beloved grandfather passes away, Ben Garrison returns to Hope Harbor for
the funeral and to settle the estate. Not expecting to inherit the
local lighthouse, Ben is also unprepared for the challenge by spirited
and beautiful redhead Marci Weber to save the Pelican Point lighthouse
from being sold. While not native to the community, Marci has settled
in, made friends, and hopes to have found a safe place to escape her
troubled past. Ben's plan is to handle his grandfather's affairs and to
head to a big-city medical practice. As time passes, though, his
nostalgia for the love shown by his grandfather and the undeniable
beauty of the area has a powerful pull, and no little part of that tug
is Ben's attraction to Marci. She had intended to avoid involvements,
but Ben is unlike anyone she has ever met, and she cannot deny that she
is quite drawn to the handsome doctor. Each of them has relationship
issues, and they seem to be at cross-purposes over the fate of the
lighthouse. However, Hope Harbor is aptly named, and with faith and care
they just might find a way to keep Pelican Point shining for a bright
and happy future.

MY
REVIEW: I love the "Hope Harbor Series" from author Irene Hannon. I
have enjoyed each book so much, and I always look forward to upcoming
entries in the series. "Starfish Pier" (Book Six) is the story of a
school teacher and a former military man who find themselves attracted
to one another despite their differing opinions on important social
issues. Holly Miller moved to Hope Harbor for a fresh new start, and she
enjoys the quiet lifestyle of the beautiful little town on the Oregon
Coast. Steven Roark left his military career behind and relocated to
Hope Harbor when his sister-in-law sent out a plea for help with his
younger brother, Patrick, who is struggling with a drinking problem. A
year later, Steven is doing well with his charter fishing business, but
he has not been able to make a breakthrough with his brother. Holly and
Steven meet when she is seeking donations for the local "Helping Hands"
volunteer organization. At first, he puts her off, but Fate has other
plans, and with a nudge from the mystic town sage, Charley--also an
artist and masterful fish taco maker--and his seagull buddies, Gladys
and Floyd, Steven and Holly find themselves enjoying each other;s
company. However, they each have their own personal issues to resolve,
and they still must find common ground to work together for the good of
the community. With a leap of faith, and hopeful hearts, can they find a
deep and lasting love and a bright future? Highly recommended for
lovers of charming inspirational contemporary romance.

MY REVIEW: I am a happy reader--back in author Irene Hannon's much-loved "Hope Harbor Series" with Book Seven, "Blackberry Beach". It's always a pleasure to meet new arrivals and to catch up with longtime residents. Hope Harbor wouldn't be the same without Charley--wise, perceptive friend-to-all--a talented artist and fish taco maker without equal. His feathered friends, Gladys and Floyd keep watch over the town and its inhabitants and offer their own insights from a bird's-eye view. Zach Garrett, owner of the coffee shop, "The Perfect Blend", is intrigued by beautiful and elusive newcomer Kat Morgan, who seems immune to his overtures of friendship. A meeting on Blackberry Beach, when the blackberries are ripe and at their peak, reveals that the two are neighbors. Zach's homemade blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream seems to melt some of Kat's resistance. TV and film star Katherine Parker has retreated to Hope Harbor to recover from a series of devastating events and to decide where her future lies. Zach, whose response to a life-changing loss was to completely change his career and habitat, was mostly content with his days--even if he was starting to miss caring companionship. Fate conspires to bring them together to work on a community project to benefit foster children, and their awareness and attraction continues to grow. Katherine is on the verge of a major career breakthrough--a starring role in a feature film that could launch her into super stardom--but is that what she really wants? Zach's change of careers caused a serious rift with his father. Can Zach now open his heart to forgive past hurts and take a chance on a new life filled with the promise of love and happiness? Where there is faith, there is always hope--and hope is the guiding light through the most difficult of times. Highly recommended for lovers of inspirational romance.
