With her "Heart of the Jaguar" series, author Terry Spear unleashes the power of
the predator and enhances it with the passion of the protector. In Book One,
"Savage Hunger", we met Connor Anderson and his sister, Maya. Jaguar shifters,
the Andersons came to the aide of Army Captain Kathleen McKnight when a mission
to bring down an Amazon drug lord went horribly wrong, and Kat was abducted and
tortured. Also coming to the rescue was Wade Patterson, a member of the Golden
Claw JAG, a special elite force for jaguar shifters. Wade had initially been
attracted to Kat, but it was Maya whom he couldn't forget. In Book Two, "Jaguar
Fever", Wade and Maya are reunited when she wanders into the Houston shifter's
nightclub where Wade and his twin brother David are on a mission of their own to
